2/7+1/14

1/12 + 3/8

5/7 - 3/7

3/5- 1/4

-6/4/7 + 3/1/7

8/1/3 + 2/1/6

3/4 x 4/5

17/5/2 x 3/7

8 x 1/4

Who ever does this and shows the work will get a perfect five feedback.

  1. 2/7 = 4/14

    4/14 + 1/14 = 5/14

    1/12 = 2/24

    3/8 = 9/24

    2/24 + 9/24 = 11/24

    5/7 - 3/7 = 2/7

    3/5 = 12/20

    1/4 = 5/20

    12/20 - 5/20 = 7/20

    3/1 = 12/4

    -6/4 + 12/4 = 6/4

    6/4/7

    8/1/3 = 8/3

    2/1/6 = 2/6

    8/3 = 16/6

    16/6 + 2/6 = 18/6 = 3

    3/4 x 4/5 = 12/20 = 3/5 (multiply both tops and both bottoms, then reduce)

    17/5/2 x 3/7

Multiply both by 2 to remove the first /2

    17/5 x 6/7 = 102/35

    8 = 8/1

    8/1 x 1/4 = 8/4 = 2

I have to tell you I don't exactly remember how to do multiple divisors it has been so many years since I did simple fractions

  2. 2/7 + 1/14 = (4+1)/14 = 5/14

    1/12 + 3/8 = (2/24)+(9/24) = (2+9)/24 = 11/24

    5/7 - 3/7 = (5-3)/7 = 2/7

    3/5 - 1/4 = (12/20) - (5/20) = (12-5)/20 = 7/20

    -6/4/7 + 3/1/7 = (-6/4 * 1/7)+(3/1 * 1/7) = -6/28 + 3/7 = -6/28 + 12/28 = 6/28 = 3/14

same methods and you should get

    8/1/3 + 2/1/6 = ... 8/3 + 1/3 = 9/3 = 3

    3/4 * 4/5 = 12/20 = 3/5

    8 * 1/4 = 8/4 =2
