who else is sick of all this diana carry on and the public crying? grown men and women standing in the street crying for somebody who they never knew or met and has been dead for 10 years.whats going on?

10 years ago I watched in disbelief as the whole country lost the plot. The flowers at the gates of the palace were ridiculous. Oh to be a florist in London that week. They must still be spending the money they made.

I agree. That woman has been dead for a decade and she needs to be allowed to be dead. All these documentaries and "inside" interviews, are not respectful, and that's the most important thing, we need to respect our dead. She was great, and people loved her, that doesn't mean that after her being dead for ten years people are allowed to still be making money off her.

I was 8 years old when Princess Diana died. I never met her nor did I care much about her nor did i even pay attention to her.

I respect her and I think she did good things for the world. She seemed like a decent woman from how she was protrayed

Why can't she just rest in peace?

I doubt she would want people talking about her after ten years. I wondered if she would ever imagine it that way?

Anyway, it is best we leave her alone and people won't. Someday there will be another person that may follow her legacy.

Well I am so glad I don't watch much TV, noticed 4 diana programmes on sky anytime, have given them a wide birth so far...no disrespect to Diana, but there are millions of more people deserving of such reverence, but because she was a Royal and got media exposure, she is akin to a demi-god. I'm like Tom Hanks in the film 'Big' - 'I don't get it'...the sheep in the fields have more sense haha

It was sad when she died so young but, like you, I was not personally affected by it because I did not know the person only the persona shown by the media.

She complained all through her life as a royal that the press wouldn't leave her alone & still they can't. I think its time to let it go once & for all.

Though people didn't know diana personally, they were part of their hearts. diana was the first down to earth member of the british royal family. she truly cared for ever british citizen. People had lost hope in royalty after she died.
