  1. Yes, one in a millon has it.

    Christine Willes (circa 1727), because of her hooped skirts could not bowl underarm cause she got tangled up in her skirt. She started to bowl side arm and overarm evolved form there.


  2. Wasn't it like some English woman that used to play cricket with the men - but her bat kept getting caught with the dress and she then began to bowl overarm with a roundarm action...

    Edit: Incase ur wondering, im talking about those big long, wide dresses that the women had to wear in the 19th century!!

    Edit: Ur right, i stuffed up my story a little!! So i searched the net and found Christiana Willes, sister of Kent cricketer John Willes is best known for inventing round arm bowling!!
