I hear there is a man named George Washington. I never have heard of him in school before and I am a 14 year old American. Was he like important or something? What did he do? Please give me all the information you can. I need to do a report on him

  2. George Washington was born February 22, 1732 in British America. He died December 14, 1799 in Virginia. He was married to Martha Dandridge Custis Washington. Washinton served as the United States 1st President between 1789-1797. During his presidency John Adams was vice president. Washington fought in many different battles including:
