Here are some questions. Lets see who is the smartest when it comes to Biology. If you can answer all these correctly, you win.

1) How do the role and structure of the following polysaccarides compare?

2) State at least two differences between saturated and unsatuated fats.

Many animals store excess sugar polysaccharidesdes called glycogen, or animals starch.  Plants use a slightly different polysaccharide called plant starch to store excess sugar Plants also make another important polysaccharide called cellulose. So all in all, all of these words store excess sugar.

Saturated fats contain the maximum possible number of hydrogen atoms, whereas the unsaturated contain lower amounts of hydrogen atoms.

Another is that saturated fats' fatty acid is joined t o another carbon atom by a single bond and unsaturated is joined by double bonds.

In biochemistry, allosteric regulation is the regulation of an enzyme or other protein by binding an effector molecule at the protein's allosteric site (that is, a site other than the protein's active site). Effectors that enhance the protein's activity are referred to as allosteric activators, whereas those that decrease the protein's activity are called allosteric inhibitors.

a. The polarity- Water is polar because there is an uneven distribution of hydrogen atoms.

b. Cohesion- Waters cohesion causes molecules to bead up on surfaces. Also, it allows some insects to walk on water.

c. Adhesion- Capillary action is an example of adhesion. It is onw of the forces that draws water out of the roots of plants and up into the stems and leaves.

d. Its Ph measure- Waters Ph measure is 7, which is neither acidic or basic, thus we wont get sick from it because it is neutral.

Isn't starch what you spray on your tighty whities to keep them crisp and wrinkle-free? Oh, I know what cellulose is. It's what makes girls butts and legs look all cottage cheesy.
