Who knows about chocolate wafers!!!!

what brand sells it? i want to make cheesecake and i got a recipe from everyday italian fromt eh foodnetwork. the crust is used with chocolate wafer, but the cookie is round and hard!!

what store can i get it. i live in hollywood,florida. publix , winn dixie and foodtown doesnt have it

  1. Well in Canada all the major grocery stores sell them.  They should be in the cookie aisle with the rest of them.  If not, grab some chocolate teddy bears (for kids) and crush them or use chocolate graham crumbs.


  2. Nabisco makes chocolate wafers: round, crispy cookies. They come in a yellow with some red box....like a long tray, wrapped in cellophane so you can see the actual cookies...they also can be used to make an awesome refrigerator cake with whipped cream that you would probably go crazy for....My mom used to make this as a desert for us when we were kids...the box of wafers cost like seventy nine cents...now they're over 3 dollars, but worth every penny. Go to Nabiscoworld.com and search Famous Refrigerator Chocolate Cake....I have successfully purchased them in ShopRite, sometimes they're only out around the holidays...but the shoprite here in Pa has them year round.
