  1. Wasn't born in Australia but have lived here ( Melbourne ) for 30 years. Wouldn't think of living anywhere else. Spent 3 months in UK about 15 years ago and just hate it because of the cold and wet. On the way home as soon as the plane touched down at Tulla I said to myself, YES I'm home and the feeling is just great.

  2. So you think if we all brag about it,that this makes us any better? really, that is like asking the Pope if he likes being a Catholic.

  3. errrrmmmmmmm me??

yup cos I live in it and its not as g*y as america and cos we have col sports and are cricket world champions and have cool beaches....shall I continue??

  4. I love it, but don't let too many countries know how great it is here, we don't want to be overpopulated and be **** like them.

  5. mememememe!

  8. I couldnt agree more!! Oz is great and I dont get y we have to act all "American"!!

  9. me me me!!! *waves hand in air*

yeah totally. we australians don't ALWAYS say ' howdy mate ' and use all the ' aussie ' slangs like good arvo. okay maybe sometimes we do but don't we all????

and we are civilized ppl!!! we don't walk around everytime with ugg boots and carrying a whip. we r not ppl from the australia outback spectacular for goodness sake

  10. I love Australia, it is my home country.

But, my best friend is an American, & I love his country too.♥♥♥

  11. I love it. I live here by choice. It's not perfect, we can be a bit too satisfied with ourselves at times, we also slag off Americans a bit too much even though it tends to happen despite us slipping off our Nikes, eating McDonalds and settling down to watch Desperate Housewives, we haven't yet worked out that escalators are not designed to give you a rest and we often suffer from the same insularity we accuse other nationalities of having.

Other than that, it's bloody great. New government is off to a great start too. Thanks 53% of you for making that happen. If only it'd rain just a bit more in Brisbane.

  12. I love it. Why? cause I live there :]

  13. I love my homeland Australia.

    Why? You ask.

Because, we don't take ourselves as seriously as some other places do.

In fact, we can even laugh at ourselves.

    "Love it or Leave it!"

Wins my vote for best bumper sticker I've seen recently.

  14. Best country on Earth XD

  15. oh i do, i do!!

because it sthe best and ive never been anywhere else. we cant afford to go over seas like other lucky peoples.

  16. me.. i love australia!! its my home :)

  17. I love Australia. It is my home country and I love it

  18. Where else in the world could the economy be so booming that we have to try and put a lid on it with an interest rate hike?

Where else do employers have to recruit people from overseas even for hospitality jobs because there's no unemployed?

Where else can skilled workers be paid to come over?

Where else can employers be headhunting and poaching staff with twice the pay even for experienced finance and payroll officers?

Where else can housing be in such short supply due to the influx of people that you can get to rent out your properties for triple the amount in five years?

It's unbelievable. We are living in different times, now a days in Western Australia!

    Love it - it's great!
