It is so awesome! The shopping is fun and i like how the city is set up!Still if people aren't SO friendly there are people that are extremely nice but hard to find!

If it was more like Paris then it would be great.....Hate the traffic, the litter, the grime, the crime, the beer, the accents, the expensive housing, but I suppose that's what you get in a capital city...much nicer cities throughout UK. Trouble with London is that is wasn't built for the car, or so many people.

My current job is in London (after living & working all over England, Scotland & Wales), and, apart from the nightmare journey to get there, I just love London to bits.

i hate the place used to spend every weekend there as a kid as my dad worked there and i hated the place then i still hate it now if i ever have to visit london i hit an instant foul mood b4 i get there cos i know what to expect

London's a big place, not all of it's bad. I wouldn't want to live in Central London, but it's a great place to visit.

I'm from South London. think it's the best place to live in the UK. it's one of the best cities in the world. i think New York And Tokyo are better though.

I see that people usually "hate" London because of "how it's not clean, horrible people live there" etc.

Actually not only horrible people live here.

I actually know alot of really nice people that live in london.

Yes it is dirty but it's a city what do you expect?

And also not everyone speaks the same in London, there can be posh accents or really common accents.

Or even in between.

I adore London town. Everyone that I met there is friendly to the utmost. Fashionable in a classy way. Beautiful city. Great museums and stores. An icon of what western civilization should be. Beats any american city by far.

i live in London for 2 years now...it's busy specially in the summer..it's clean & expensive!!! i think best areas to live are central & west end ,cuz u have every intresting & useful things around u...it's ok but i don't love it sorry!!!

I do.  I love visiting but not too sure if i could live there.   I went to the o2 to see prince on the 1st aug and going again on the 25th I just love the fastness of it all.  I love staying over I love eating up there I love going to the shows so who loves london MEEEEEEEEEEEEEE tooo.

Hate the place, haven't been for about 16 years. Would love to go on the Eye, but just don't want to go to London. Too many people, too dirty, not keen on the people there. Prefer Cardiff

I'm biased so yes i do, being the capital its bound to have it's problems, but have a look at other cities, they have the same problems and in some cases a lot worse. Considering the amount of people who live here, 7 million, sorry don't know exact figures  from every port of call, most seem to rub along well enough, and it has everything you could want from a city.
