I was offered the following trade and don't know if I should take it:

I get Jim Thome, Xavier Nady, Stephen Drew

I lose Iwamura and Soriano.

take the trade you are getting players who usually improve thier game at the and of the year but i am not sure about alfonso soriano

You are going to have to cut 2 people to make the trade.  One to make a spot for Drew, and the other to make a spot for the vacated Soriano spot.  I always hate odd number trades, but that is me.

looks pretty good and if it were me i would take it...

i would do it. you get instant power numbers in thome and nady. stephen drew is more of a throw in. soriano might not be back for a while, but you have a replacement in buscher when iwamura gets traded. thome and the white sox have been hot lately, so trading for him would be the right decision.

I don't know if your willing to give up Soriano, try giving another player like Edmonds or Hinske. Soriano is too valuable hitting and defensively. Plus, who are you going to replace Soriano with? Nady? I hope not cause we all know that Soriano plays better than Nady any day. Hope you make a good decision.
