who pays for everything on 60 minute make-over on tv?

The television network CBS pays for it.  The salaries and supplies used for the make-overs are a business expense, and it comes out of the annual budget allocated to the 60 Minutes production team.  CBS gets their money by selling time slots to others during their programs, most of whom fill with advertisements (the commercials you see during the shows), campaign ads for the presidential candidates, or public service announcements.  Since the public buys the advertised products, and you're part of the public, it's not a far stretch to say that YOU have probably contributed to those make-overs. :)

    EDIT: I forgot one--occasionally companies will pay CBS to use their products during these make-overs, as a form of advertising.

  5. i think they have sponsors..... like if there makeup is done by covergirl , then covergirl  just donates that, usually for advertisment purposes
