Everyone needs money to take care of himself and his family....initially they start off playing for their livlihood..(am talking abt Ranji trophy, Railways etc)...when they represent India, they know they are going to earn money so that time money is not issue.

Representing one's country is a big honour and probably everyone knows this. Accoding to me , everyone plays for the country's sake.

One latest example is of Sourav Ganguly and M S Dhoni..(after being dropped from ODI team against the Aussies, there has been a rift between the two as Dhoni was the one who got rid of Dada) but when required for country's sake both forgot their differences and played for India against South Africa in the second test ( i am talking abt the big partnership between the two of them which helped India score well after being in a tough situation)
