Who sounds like Jewel?

A few months ago I heard an artist on a local radio show here in Orlando, and she was just a kid - maybe 16 or 17.. but she sounded very folk-y.. she sounded almost exactly like Jewel. I'm trying to figure out her name so I can look into hearing more of her music. Can anyone help? Just post names of people you can think of that sound like Jewel.. I think I'll know her name when I see it, I just can't remember it offhand. Thanks! It's not Michelle Branch or Vanessa Carlton or Anna Nalick.. But similar to those.. I just wish I could remember!
