when labour was good, then they were socialist labour, now, they are new labour, no longer socialist at all, and since they turned their back on socialism, the county has gone down hill, your an idiot.

and in terms of the question, yes, the labour government do suck, and gordon brown is an idiot, however, he is a legitimate leader because Tony Blair was not elected to be the leader of the country. the labour government was elected to be the leading party of the country, Tony Blair just so happened to be the leader of that party and thus the prime minister. when Tony Blair voluntarily stepped down as prime minister, the labour government was still the elected leading party of the country, it just no longer had a leader, so Gordon brown was elected by the labour party to be the leader, and thus, the prime minister.
