  1. A German philosopher, mostly remembered for his concept of "Ubermensch", or Supermen, which Adolf Hitler incorporated into his ideas about the Aryan "master race". His most remembered quote is "That which does not kill us makes us stronger." (What about syphilis, aids, other diseases, and radioactivity and other poisons, like dioxin, or mental diseases?). See wikipedia (I didn't!).

  2. Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche (October 15, 1844 - August 25, 1900) (IPA: [ˈfʁiːtʁɪç ˈniːtʃə]) was a German philosopher. His writing included critiques of religion, morality, contemporary culture, philosophy, and science. His style of writing was distinctive, displaying a fondness for aphorism and paradox. Nietzsche's influence remains substantial within and beyond philosophy, notably in existentialism and postmodernism.
