Who would win...shark vs croc???

Question

who would win a fight...an average size shark or a fully grown croc or alligator??? you decide :P

Most likely a shark, depending on how much energy both can expend.

A shark, if it were stronger that the crocodile or alligator, could drag the competitor to the bottom of a body of water. Sharks have gills and can breathe underwater, crocodiles and alligators would have to hold their breath. Albeit, they can hold their breath for awhile but if they're thrashing around and fighting this increases the need for oxygen to be delivered to the brain and they can't hold their breath as long as if under different circumstances.

I would say a shark only if the fight were in the sea. If it were on land, the shark would suffocate and die, and there wouldnt be a fight.
