  1. I would go Ortiz,Carpenter,Howard for Hamilton and the pitchers.

Ortiz and Howard are streaky Teixeira is more consistent.I would take Hamilton over Holliday for the simple fact that he has been on fire all season long

  2. I would say Hamilton would be better but its going to be interesting to see how he holds up for the rest of the season....

Neither of them pitch though so I am not sure why you'd be trading for them....

I would imagine getting sheets, haren and percival would be a nice bounty regardless of who you pick out of holliday or hammy....nice decision to be stuck with.

  3. If you can get Josh Freaking Hamilton, Ben Sheets, Dan Haren, and Troy Percival for those three?  Do it.  I can't believe someone would give up that package for what you're offering.

  4. Im gonna say Hamilton because he has like a 104 RBI's already and he's playing great all around.

  5. It's better to have Holliday.

    Here's Hamilton numbers:

    April-May: 14 HR, 61 RBI, .327 BA

    June-July: 11 HR, 43 RBI, .283 BA

Post All Star: 5 HR, 11 RBI, .298

    Compare with Holliday's number:

    April-May: 8 HR, 26 RBI, .321 BA

    June-July: 10 HR, 37 RBI, .366 BA

Post All Star: 6 HR, 14 RBI, .403 BA

As you can see Hamilton's cooled off some since his fast start while Holliday is just heating up.  Already in August he's hitting .556 with 2 homers.

  6. as much as i want to say Hamilton ill say Holliday  because he has been great this season and has been on a tear lately.
