It depends. KOBE might beat JORDAN in STATISTICS and RECORDS. But KOBE didn't beat JORDAN on how JORDAN leads his team and how he acts as a hero for a team. Its like JORDAN has more dedication to the game, BUT I"M BOTH KOBE and JORDAN FAN.

kobe has alot of work to do still to get to mj's level.

if he had been able to go through the celtics, even as a kobe hater, i would put him as being the best there ever was. as we all know he didnt so thats knocked him down a peg or two in climbing the mj ladder. he still has a bright career ahead but right now mj is king.

if he can fix his attitude, he could probably be my favourite player. right now he is barely ahead of the spurs in my popularity ranking

This question got answered in this years finals. Kobes a great player, but he didnt seem to have that killer instinct. he couldnt close out a game against boston after they led by over 20 points. there is no way jordon would have lost and nba finals game after leading by 20. and im gettin tired of people saying that kobe doesnt have much help. thats wut superstars do...they make due with the resources that they have. aside from pippen, who did jordan have...luc longley?
