because they are, and everything to do with (their football team), is very very tiresome. its gets boring how they rant on about gerrard and carragher. they are ******* ****, shouldnt have beaten standard liege, can't even buy a ******* decent winger (don't know what was wrong with pennant) and the stupid fat spaniard just buys players for extortionate sums of money seemingly for the h**l of it (examples being voronin, benayoun, pennant, zenden, bellamy), and once he buys a bloody good and inventive striker in keano, he plays him on the ******* left hand side of midfield. what in the ****

Its not hate. But they use to stand for good football on the pitch and a well run club of it. But now the football has become to defensive and the the club is run is just embarrassing.

Their football team is overrated for starters- they seem to think they have a divine right to win every trophy despite the fact that their glory days are well behind them. And what's with the "we've won it five times" chant at rival teams such as Man United? Four of those triumphs came before 1990! Plus United have completely eclipsed Liverpool's achievements since then. Apart from the football, i quite like Liverpool though (people are nice, culture, the Beatles, etc).

To be honest, I understand a lot of people hate Manchester United because they are always wining the league so people dislike them because they are doing well, fair enough (I dislike them because they are arrogant know-it-alls). People dislike Chelsea because they have the money to buy who-ever they want (I dislike them because they are arrogant know-it-alls) but I haven't got a clue why people are hating on Liverpool because they don't say stuff in the papers that comes off as arrogant, they don't do things on or off the pitch that makes them look disgraceful (I'm not talking quality of football). The only thing people seem to hate is Rafa Benitez, but then again should it not be the fans who turn on him. I mean how bad a manager must you be if you rivals start taking the p**s out of you instead of thanking you. Maybe it is because they have 7 points when they should only have one, but then again Manchester United and Chelsea do that all season long. So to be honest, I can't really give you a good reason just a few points:
