Why Is My Dad Like This?

I'm 14 years old now and my dad says or does stupid things that makes me feels like im 6. I don't even laugh i don't know how to respond to it. What should i do when he does this immature stuff? It's not funny at all.

well try to tell him and tell ur mom she could tell him and just try to do stuff with you im 13 and my dad and i love to watch football he and I are HUGE gator fans so try doing something like that heres my email tell me how it goes! [e-mail]

im almost 20 and mom does the strangest c**p like that.  ive learned to just get used to it, ive even gotten to the point where its almost amusing... in an annoying sort of way...

well, they always do this .. they just dont to believe that u r getting bigger , they liked it when u were young . look u have 2 solutions  either tell him to stop doin this but politely oR just smile and dont make him feel bad .. his your father and he is just doing this cuz he loves you !

Put yourself in his shoes, do you realize how scary a teenager is to a parent? Be nice and smile or laugh when he does crazy things, he see's you growing up and it's scary.

I'm 41 and I can't take my 69 year old dad in public...he's crazy lol.

he just wants to be close with u that's normal just talk to him tell him that u wanna spend time with him bu ur not 6 no more and that u guys can spend time together and do fun stuff but not the way u do right now cuz u don't like it just be honest he is ur dad he will understand
