i just switched from zoloft to cymbalta and i read way to much on the internet and scare myself. what the h**l is wrong with me. i am on the meds for anxiety but doesn't seem like it is working because i take it all to heart what i read on the internet about these medications and it scares the h**l out of me then i am scared to stop them. are they really that bad???? i mean i know there are people who have way more problems then they list on here and just put it makes them suicidal . should i worry about it. i know to call my doctor if it makes me feel that way but i guess from what i have read i don't know what the signs are. lol omg i am freaking out.

  1. At your next doctors appointment discuss your worries about the medication.  Your doctor will most likely be able to reassure you or tell you what signs to watch out for.   I have been taking Cymbalta for several years.  I have not noticed any adverse side effects. Take care of yourself.

  2. Sometimes it is really freaky to read the possible side effects of medications you are taking.  I always try to remember that these are not always things that DO happen, but things that MAY happen.  When I am feeling really unwell, I think a few minor side effects are a small price to pay for feeling well and being able to function as a normal part of the human race :).  And....you do know to go to your doctor if you experience anything worrying

It seems to me that your anxiety is causing some of this problem.  Maybe when the meds have a chance to work properly you wont worry so much.  I hope that is the case.  Very best wishes
