Why are some teachers so unprofessional?

i had one that touched me not just one but a few and their females, for no reason and it was not a tap it was like a slow touch on my shoulders and arms. i'm a good student and always do my work. when they touch me it's obvious. and they just stare at me sometimes w/ smile. they even flirt with me. i don't see them doing it to other students only to me. it gets awkward; i'm attractive, it doesn't bother me just wonder why would they do this?

i'm not making it up and i'm not thinking too much into it.

Some teachers are just immature.  It sounds like these teachers may be new to teaching and may be young.  If you are in high school or college, they may not be that much older than you.  That definitely does not excuse their behavior, but might explain it.  Teachers should be professional, but they are human just like you.  If it happens again, politely say, "Can you please not touch me, I don't like to be touched."  Make sure you are polite.
