  1. It depends on politics, and the place where you live. Suggestion: if you're not in California, suggest your leaders to follow the standards from the same(CA). For more information: http://www.cawrecycles.org/

  2. Because many places won't fund it since they think that it's simply easier to send everything to a landfill. Also, it's because society's become too lazy to look for a blue bin. Would explain better, but I have to get to school.

  3. There's no money in recycling.  In people's mind everything is simple, fast and easy.  They have not been educated enough to take care of the environment.

  4. I think there are a lot of people recycling we just don't see it day to day because many aren't advertising the fact they are doing it.  At work we have numerous areas where we can recycle paper, plastics, aluminum etc.  Many communities also have local recycling programs for curbside service or recycling centers people can drop stuff off.  Part of the problem in my opinion is some of these communities don't have recycling programs because they misuse their funds on other things that are not as important as saving our environment.

  5. There are many companies that recycle. Metals, pallets, drums, plastic, and wood are routinely recycled.  One example is Milliken & Company who achieve near 0% waste to the landfill.

  6. you know i dont know

  7. I'm much more concerned about the paucity of oil refineries!

  8. It's due to people's ignorance of how this planet gives us everything we need to survive. It's amazing it hasn't given up on us yet. It's time to give thanks to nature.

  9. Because less people care about the environment not many of us care about the outside being clean. We'd rather just clean our home instead.
