Why cant i download chrome browser?

How good is good browsing in CHROME? I tried to finish the whole Google comic strip about chrome but I couldn't finish it! wonderful but too technical for me. I am a firefox fan. Please give me 2 reasons to switch (out of curiosity)

In response to "2 good reasons" for Firefox users (or users of any browser for that matter):

1.  Tabs are now elevated to processes and make better use of the Operating System.  One tab can run in the background while you are working on stuff in another tab.

2.  Memory management and "garbage collection" is better and you'll get better bang for the bucks spent on memory chips.

It will not be released until later on today.

The simple answer is, it's not released yet. They are releasing it on Tuesday 2nd Sept, yes, but it's not like it appears at midnight. You have to wait for them to get into work and then put it all through. Plus, since they're in California, the time is even later.

There is a press conference about it at 11am their time (which I believe is about 9pm your time), so it may be downloadable then. If that is the case, then it'll be a few more hours.

It hasn't been released yet. I've tried to get more info on where to download Google Chrome but my research has turned up negative as of yet. Probably in a few hours (days?) time after the Chrome download have been made available to the Chrome-curious public. Not that I'm eager to download the Google Chrome browser and try it out for myself. No, not me. I'll sit this one out and probably try it after the dust has settled.
