  1. Why wouldn't he say yes? He was offered the job of vice president, any major politican would say yes to that.

  2. Perhaps the larger scope for the better good of the country; mounts a higher purpose in correcting the persona and seven plus years of destruction in America, because of Bush and his potential third term McBush.

  3. The prestige of being Vice president.

  4. I think he didn't understand the question

  5. He can't turn his back on the party he depends on to get elected.  He knows they're gonna lose, he just knows it'll give him prestige to be on the ticket for a while.  He's just playing the part, just like Obama.

  6. Biden is a has been and is tired of not being in the limelight.  As VP he can relax, travel and be a VIP.

  7. I think he said yes so that if Obama does win the election, Biden will feel a little better knowing that he himself is there to guide him. Biden already stated that he didn't think Obama was ready to be president, so he probably feels like he won't do as well without Biden's support.

  8. My guess is that he thinks that they can win with that combination.  They might try to appeal to the middle class people in USA.

  9. He likes Obama and he wants to be VP and win.

Also Obama has been in the lead for months, Biden is an asset but Obamba is the reason I'm voting.

The Rasmussen Reports Balance of Power Calculator currently shows Obama leading in states with 193 Electoral College votes while McCain leads in states with 183 votes. When leaners are included, it’s Obama 264, McCain 247.
