  1. He's a young talent.

Chelsea don't have much of a youth team and only a few players are in their early 20's so they need the best Young players now if they want to succeed in the future.

    It was a good buy.

  2. I think it was probably another case of "Buy him because we can and because nobody else will get him" transfer that Chelsea have become so well known for doing recently. It was the same with Wright-Philips, Obi Mikel and Deco. Not to improve the team, but to prevent others from using them and just to show their power in the transfer market. Ivanovic was hot property so Chelsea just went in and threw the money at Lokamotiv. They have to be the most reckless club when it comes to transfers.

  3. they bought ivanovic b/c of injury reason and b/c they didn't want their rivals to get a hold of him:P. It then showed that Alex, another CB, proved more useful than him when carvalho or terry was injured. Ivanovic is a young player and its hard to find good & young CB these days. They should loan him to Milan or Juventus so he can gain experience. Also, Grant was a c**p coach and when i saw him put Ben Haim on the line-up i knew he was gonna be the reason why a goal went in.

  4. To add depth.

    Simple, to the p oint.

  5. who ever they buy will be a waste of money,United to win the treble and WIGAN to finish in the top ten

  6. I heard Ivan makes great muffins.

And Fat Frank absolutely loves them muffins- he didn't sign that five-year-contract for nothing now, did he?

  7. Abramovich ran out of storage space for his money
