Why did I dream about this?

Question

I dreamed that my girlfriend called me, one night, and told me not to come over. Says something about a fight she had with her dad and her dad was out to get me 'cause I got her pregnant.

Being the stubborn one, I disregard her pleas for me not to go. I got in my car and drive over to her place.

When I get there, she runs to me. But her dad is waiting for me, too. She yells that he's got a gun and steps between me and her dad. She gets shot.

lol, people take dreams so literally. No this doesn't mean you're going to end up killing your gf on accident.
