Liverpool have a multitude of quality players who can play the type of football Spanish people like Rafa Benitez like best... lots of passing, running, quick feet, and general fast play.

Unfortunately for Crouch, he does not play this way. While he does have incredible ball control for a player his size, he should be used as a lone striker ready to capitalize on any aerial chance given to him. He did not fit in the plans for Liverpool, and was sent to Pompey to see if he could help them out a little. He is not fast enough to keep up with the likes of Fernando Torres, Dirk Kuyt, Ryan Babel, and the new Robbie Keane... but he should do a great job at Portsmouth though!
