  1. walter took the team to a very high level, then he was offered the rangers job, more pay ,longer contract. thank him and dont be biased like tam the bam uo there

  2. Just a wee test to see your loyalty between club and country, when how many Scotland games have you been to in the last year.

Oracle you're out of order you know that isn't true, walter Smith brought about a change in fortune for Scotland,Tommy Burns had his part to play as well.

  3. who cares now he is messing up the rangers sound good too me

  4. Money simple as!!

  5. money. team he loves. more involment in the sport he loves rather than training a team once in a blue moon to play every so often. money again.

  6. because rangers chapped his door and offered him a job

  7. I have tried to understand his reasons for it time and time again...but sadly I cant...to turn your back on being Scotland manager to being Rangers manager is surely a step down rather than up in his "glorious" career?

Scotland were doing amazing under his control...

  8. linzi..if you were offered your ideal job you'd take it without a second thought..just like walter did...at the end of the day better job more money..thats the real reason we all work..even better if its doing a job you love...

adele are you trying to say that if wgs walked out on celtic for scotland you would see it as a step up...much as i love scotland i think being manager of a few of our top teams is a better job

  9. Well Linzi, I for one am glad he did. Scotland are in better shape than when he took over and a lot of it is down to his defensive attitude and guile.

Rangers came and offered him his dream job and who could refuse that? No dear, being manager of the second best team in Scotland is more of a draw than being National manager for Watty. Now it's on to 4 in a row for Celtic and stumbling through the season for Watty, he may get Rangers into the UCL one day, if given the time!!!!
