I get it literally everytime I stand up, I've tried to stand up slower but I just seem to always get it and I have to hold onto something otherwise I just sway. I used to always get it but in the last month its just got terrible. Any ideas why I get it?

  1. this usally happens when you stand up from sitting down head rush its very common i get black outs even

  2. have your blood pressure checked

  3. Yes indeed...when I started passing out from headrush, I went to the doctor and was diagnosed with "orthostatic hypotension," which basically means that you get low blood pressure from standing up (orthostatis-posture, hypotension-low blood pressure).  Oh, wow, how groundbreaking (not)!    But there are other things, such as anemia, that could be your problem.  So check it out with your doctor.

Hopefully you drink enough water and get enough salt, so that your blood pressure goes up a bit...

  4. It could be a lot of things - high blood pressure, anemia, etc.

The best way to find out is to talk with your doctor, who knows your entire medical history and current condition.

  5. Yea I used to get that alot. I don't anymore. I used to always get them after I smoke weed. Get up, start walking and passout.... those were the good 'ol days....

  6. look at your name

  7. Funny, the same thing happens to me all the time. I think it's a lack of sleep. Try getting more sleep, and see how you feel after a week. The condition is usually better for me if i get at least 11 hours sleep a night.

If that doesn't help, try eating a slighty more variatized breakfast (that's still healthy) for energy. You might not be eating enough.

  8. u have low iron! go see a doctor!
