Why do I need a God?

Question

whom history has shown to behave erratically, can not control it's temper and "kills" or punishes those who will not give him their "attention?" Even I am more mature than this, so I ask you why do I need this God in my life?

31 And thou hast taken Zion to thine own bosom, from all thy creations, from all eternity to all eternity; and naught but peace, justice, and truth is the habitation of thy throne; and mercy shall go before thy face and have no end; how is it thou canst weep?

32 The Lord said unto Enoch: Behold these thy brethren; they are the workmanship of mine own hands, and I gave unto them their knowledge, in the day I created them; and in the Garden of Eden, gave I unto man his agency;

33 And unto thy brethren have I said, and also given commandment, that they should love one another, and that they should choose me, their Father; but behold, they are without affection, and they hate their own blood;

Moses 7:34

34 And the fire of mine indignation is kindled against them; and in my hot displeasure will I send in the floods upon them, for my fierce anger is kindled against them.

Moses 7:35

35 Behold, I am God; Man of Holiness is my name; Man of Counsel is my name; and Endless and Eternal is my name, also.

Moses 7:36

36 Wherefore, I can stretch forth mine hands and hold all the creations which I have made; and mine eye can pierce them also, and among all the workmanship of mine hands there has not been so great wickedness as among thy brethren.

Moses 7:37

37 But behold, their sins shall be upon the heads of their fathers; Satan shall be their father, and misery shall be their doom; and the whole heavens shall weep over them, even all the workmanship of mine hands; wherefore should not the heavens weep, seeing these shall suffer?

Moses 7:38

38 But behold, these which thine eyes are upon shall perish in the floods; and behold, I will shut them up; a prison have I prepared for them.

Moses 7:39

39 And That which I have chosen hath pled before my face. Wherefore, he suffereth for their sins; inasmuch as they will repent in the day that my Chosen shall return unto me, and until that day they shall be in torment;

Moses 7:40

40 Wherefore, for this shall the heavens weep, yea, and all the workmanship of mine hands.

Moses 7:41

41 And it came to pass that the Lord spake unto Enoch, and told Enoch all the doings of the children of men; wherefore Enoch knew, and looked upon their wickedness, and their misery, and wept and stretched forth his arms, and his heart swelled wide as eternity; and his bowels yearned; and all eternity shook.

1 He does not behave erratically His behavior is exactly as it is stated to be quite, for that matter, predictable. if u read and learn

2 He has never actually "killed" anyone yet He just removed them from the earth

3 you need Him so you are not deleted if you would only read for yourself instead of just "accepting" someone elses word for it

Well because how will you make it through life? We all need him whether we like it or not. Saying you don't need God is like saying I don't want to go to heaven when I die. And also because God can add the inner peace into your life Without God in your life. Your life would probably be PURE h**l!

really, you will say you are more mature than the one who created you, lead you down the avenues of maturity? friend you have misconceptions about the character of God. number 1 you need Him because you don't take a breath without Him first noting it. one of these days He'll stop giving it to you. you don't realize how we are at His mercy in this life, yet so many refuse it. Jesus died for your sins, the sins you have committed when no one else was looking - God saw it all, and before Him and Him alone have you sinned. therefor lay your pride in the dust and plant your trust in His grace. humble yourself before your God. the God who has ALL things desires your heart. He is the Lord of the universe though you have not made Him Lord over your thoughts or your tongue or your hands or your feet or your person. you need God because without Him we are a ship without a sail, we are stubble, nothing worth holding onto and nothing to look forward to apart from the Lord Jesus Christ.

people need God because they need love. Maybe in peoples life they have a broken family or maybe ur parents are all annoying and dont care ..and honey everyone needs someone to tell them I love you and care for you . We love when people tell us they love us it makes everyone feel special. ok and having a God isnt like 0o0o i have to pray to him or else. My religion is Christianity but its not a religion its a lifestyle . when u feel like ur alone or like no one understands u all u ahev to do is talk to him ..and yes I know its not easy u may feel like ur just talking to a wall and i know it would be way easier for God to appear to us but we had that chance when jesus was here but look we are the new generation and we have to be proud of that.
