  1. Children play games that the adults do, there is games of curiosity doctor and patients. mama and dada, Then there are other games with dolls, pretending they have babies, but all the games they do play are based on real acts that are done by adults

  2. Child play is a preparation for future adult roles they will play.  Thus, play and adequate playtime is not just normal for kids, it is also an inalienable right.  It is for this reason that child labor is frowned at in most civilized countries because this would deprive growing children their right to grow up normally and prepare for future adult role.  Since child play is crucial, it is therefore important for adult caregivers to see to it that it is wholesome and worthwhile.  What would happen if children are allowed to handle toy guns and play violent games with it.  This could have an impact on their pysche and they could grow up thinking its alright to kill other human beings for fun.

  4. I use to watch my kid's play when they were young, and what struck me was their unquenchable curiosity, faith, belief, and inspiration for their play time.I saw some of the traits that they had when the were kids develop as they grew into adults.I believe out side of it being fun....it is also a time of imagination, exploration and inspiration.

  5. social interaction is critical for childrens development. Through interaction children are able to gain a different perspective on things, have their ideas challenged and learn the fundementals for dealing with relationships

  6. Becaause it'f fun but it also helps them to learn certain things for when they are older.

Like, social intergration. they also mimick other people, situations when playing for expample pretening to be a mum or whetever.

They use their imagination. It also helps them to creat their own personality

  7. Not at all the correct category, but the reasons are pretty obvious.

Play is a non stressful(usually) way to enjoy aspects of life that sometimes dictate some order, and rigidity.

Play is a release mechanism for those aspects that are otherwise stressful, or demanding.

Play aids in socialization, interacting with others, even in a competitive sense.

Play is a learning experience in the variety of activities and experiences, that has side effects, such as teamwork, motor skills evolving, mental agility in thought processes where issues are tested, and usually resolved.

Play is what most children would rather do, which helps them learn self control, tolerance, acceptance, etc. as they watch friends at play, while they are required to do otherwise.
