  1. our organs get weaker and we run out of minerals in our body and it would be harder to move our muscles.

  2. One idea is based on telomeres. Telomeres occur at the end of chromosomes, and they are short repeats of DNA. As cells grow and divide, through each cell division some DNA is lost, as DNA polymerases are not foolproof nor perfect enzymes. These telomeres are built into the genome for this purpose. Once cells lose all telomeres completely from their chromosomes, this has been seen to coincide with aging. Cells in the body can only go through a certain amount of divisions until they stop dividing and die; this is termed senescence. So you might be aging because your cells are dying! However, in certain cell lines, such as cancer cells, these cells seem to be "immortal" - that is, they go through an infinite number of cell divisions as long as they are given the space and nutrients to grow. These immortal cell lines have been observed to lack telomeres, and their cell cycles are also misregulated, hence causing their proliferation and immortality.

  3. Because old cells are not replaced by newer ones. The amoeba does not age.

  4. We grow. God intended it that way. If we didn't, we would never go anywhere, be anything, or develop to something higher than we were made from.
