Its a great way of finding out more about other peoples cultures and traditions,  also on a longer trip to somewhere away from the ususal touristy destination you find out more about yourself.  I whole heartedly recommend travelling

to unwind, to witness and experience other cultures and feast on cuisine you normally don't have in your own country :)
