Why do ppl dislike vista?

ive had my laptop for around a week and a half and have dowloaded tons of programs and it works extremely fast so what the deal why dont ppl like it and wy ddo thye say its slow?

Try to play your older computer games and you'll realise how useless Vista is.

It depends on what you use your computer for. I have found that it is useful for new programs only. It is fast only if you have the right amount of RAM. If you use it for mainly word processing and surfing the web there should be few problems. Not every computer with Vista runs the same!

* Vista will encrypt hard drives by Default

* Vista may shorten the life of flash memory (by using it for caching via SuperFetch - only has 10,000 writes: bad idea)
