Why do so many people lie?

My girlfriend and I met at work when she had another boyfriend and I had another girlfriend. It started out great, but she was always very secretive with her life. She always calls me blocked (still after almost 2 years). I have never met any of her friends. I have caught her lying on numerous occasions, about stuff that doesn't even matter. When I ask her to go to dinner or hang out at night, she claims she has to go to school. Come on...school, 7 days a week for hours on end? She's I can't even imagine the other stuff she lies about. She never wants to meet my friends or go out with me. She smokes a lot of weed. She will only hang out with me right after work and sometimes on weekend mornings. If I want to see her for a whole day, we have to both take the day off of work. We never go out together.

She claims that I am the only one. I'm not an idiot. She gets calls from her "ex" boyfriend all of the time...stuff like "I love you" or "can't wait to see you" or "last night was tasty." The s*x is great, but I am looking for more. I told her this week that I wanted to end it because I didn't trust her and she did her best to make me feel terrible for not trusting her. Who would trust this girl in this situation? I guess I'm just a little upset and looking for some input. I thought she meant a lot to me but maybe it was just the s*x that I liked about her.

don't be a woman! this is how men do us and we take the shT. just let her go. that will show her you aren't stupid. you can do do much better.

I've lied before. You've lied before. We all lie. It's human nature... but some people get themselves in so many predicaments and just lie to get out of them. I have lied before to avoid whatever comes with I got myself into and I don't see anything wrong with a little lie every know and then, but when it gets to the point where you are hurting people and leaving a tornado behind you, you need to get yourself together. Usually people who lie 24/7, especially about important things, lose all their friends by destroying for their relationships and what goes around comes around.

I don't know what one expects when you meet a girl under those circumstances. She was already in a relationship and now she's probably doing the same thing again. She's playing you for a fool, cut her loose.

i cant imagine anyone having real feelings for a girl like this. it sounds to me like shes leading a double life. if she smokes a lot of weed than chances are thats the second life that she leads without telling u. shes obviously trying to look like shes good just to impress u and she doesnt want anything other than s*x from u. she just thinks of u as a s*x buddy. if shes having s*x with other guys and u than thats obviously all u are to her. she probally called u blocked because she doesnt want u calling her so basically like ur a booty call. i hope this helped and if i were u, if u want something more i would find a diff girlfriend who is actually truthful and open and only with u. =)
