  1. That's a stupid question. You can't dissolve a team that just built a new state of the art stadium and plus the players are still professionals, there is a reason why they are MLB players. This isn't the 1870's where you can just simply fold a baseball team. The Nationals are still a multi million dollar franchise and also MLB has to have an even amount of teams in the league.

  2. I was wondering the same thing about the Los Angeles Clippers

I went to a Dodger game on Friday against the Nationals... most boring game ever

  3. Because they cant just get rid of a team

    but i agree with you

  4. To maintain balance in the Force

  5. becasue not all teams can be good there has to be some teams to beat up

  6. Because the city just spent 600 million dollars of public money to build a stadium that just took aspects from other stadiums and did nothing unique.

But give them 4 or 5 years for their minor league system to build up good young talent to help them put together a decent team.

  7. so other not so weak teams can have a chance and there has 2 be 15 teams in each league but if they added like 2 more teams it would probably b fine

  8. You can say that about any team that is in the rebuilding phase...the Nationals will continue to gather high draft picks and in time they will be a force to be reckoned with.

It's funny though, because the Nats have the 17th ranked attendance average...and even though they are sitting in dead last in the majors, their attendance record stands higher than that of the AL Central's first place Chicago White Sox, as well as team's like Cleveland and Minnesota.

This doesn't say anything about their talent level...but at least it's saying that their fans haven't given up on them...and I wouldn't either if I were a Nats fan

  9. It is the traditional role that Washington has played whenever they have had a team in the majors.

  10. They are the newer version of the Montreal Expos.  Players from the Expos are now playing for the Nationals and they hope to repeat what the Expos did in the 90s...plus they thought that having 2 teams in canada was enough so what better place to put it than the RICH nations capital they spend millions of dollars on the team because they are in the "rebuilding" process just like the Clev. Indians are doing.

  11. They don't get rid of teams that aren't good.  Because no team is good forever. In 10-20 years the nationals will be great.
