  1. it's spelled deja vu

  2. because, for example, you walk into a room, your brain remembers small details that you don't really pay attention to about that room. later you might forget about going into that room, but in the back of ur brain, those little pieces of information are still there. so when u go into a different room, it might have some of the characteristics that you can't identify, but your brain recognizes from the other room. you're brain gets confused, and it feels like you've been there before, but you can't tell why.

i hope this makes sense. i read it in a psychology book, so i'm pretty sure it's accurate. hope i helped!

  3. It's very mystical isn't it...

Well there are two different kind of answers to this question...

If you're a scientist the answer would be this...

It's a brain abnormality associated with the temporal lobe. Almost like a mismatching of the brain that makes the brain believe that it has been there are seen something before. Some scientist also consider it to be a fantasy of some sort...all in our imagination.

Now if your a spiritual person this would be the answer...

Deja vu is from past life experiences. It a form a clairavoyance. A memory from the after life.

No one really knows the answer for sure. I think this is one of the ultimate questions of the universe. :-)
