Why do women get TATTOOS ?

I mean its alright if they have a tattoo on the stomach or lower abdomen. But would you say a girl who has a tattoo on her arms like this looses appeal.

i have a tattoo below my neck. i would have got it at the bottom of my back but a lot of girls were doing that. i think that asian girl looked cool. there is a lot of variety in this world and there will be some guys who really like it. each to their own

No. I actually like her sleeve, it's hott! I've always wanted a sleeve but because of my job, I can't get one :-(  Tattoos are beautiful. Just because you don't particularly like them, that doesn't make the female any more or less attractive; some ppl hate them, some ppl love them. To each his own...

Not as far as I'm concerned.  It might depend on the subject of the tattoo, however.  I mean, a skull smoking a joint or something might make the woman appear somewhat less than feminine.  On the other hand, one of the most attractive women I know has tattoos all the way up both arms and across her back.  Just depends on the tattoo and the woman, I guess.

You could flip that question around and ask why a man gets tattoos, or just ask in general why any person gets tattoos.

I have 8 tattoos. ...on my upper arms, thighs, ankles and back the run up the back of my neck.

Every person can only speak for themselves. For me it's about expression , my personal expression..

I don't think it makes me look trashy because I carry myself and always carry myself as a woman in a respectful way.

If the gal is happy with herself, I am happy for her. I would not cause it is not my cup of tea. I think it looks hawt on her though, just when you get older it tends to lose its appeal. I have seen some older people with tattos and still it is their choice. Let me shut up now.

"trashy" is a relative term. Some people think wearing a skirt above the knee is trashy, some people think wearing stilettos is trashy.

I've got a half-sleeve (Japanese-inspired) on my arm and my husband think it is ultra-s**y and I have gotten nothing but compliments on the artwork from all races and ages.  If you don't like them, fine, but don't act like we're chopped liver because we're not.  There are plenty of people who think that tattoos are s**y.

And I definitely do not look trashy. My clothes are trendy and when I put on my frilly dresses, it looks edgy and s**y, not unfeminine. But you won't see me in anything too Suzy Homemaker anyway.  Most of my clothes have a rocker edge to them.

And the argument about "When you get old..."  By that time, i'll be too happy that i'm still kicking to give two craps about my wrinkled tats.

Yes it's trashy.  Of course a woman with a tattoo is going to say it is not trashy.
