Why does beer make you pee?

I had 4 beers and peed like 10 times within an hour.

Hahaha.

My friend had 2 and peed just as much?

It's just like drinking tons of water - after drinking some you're going to have to pee - alcohol induces it moreso as well...

Alcohol is a drug, when you consume it your bodies immediate reaction is to get it out of your body as fast as possible.  This is why your urine is clear while drinking, your body doesn't spend much time processing it before releasing it back so a lot of water that is normally kept by the body is released before it is absorbed.  When your urine is darker in color this means your body is spending more time extracting the water and only releasing the toxins or stuff your body isn't able to use.  

If you drink a lot of water your urine is clear also because your body has enough water and doesn't have to work hard to extract every last drop.

try restating your question to where its " why does beer make ME pee?"...  first off, it IS liquid, you know...but maybe you need medical help or something...
