Why does my kitten always f**t?

He's always farting and it's the worst smell EVER! I was wondering if anyone knows what to do to stop it from farting. :) Thank you!

I would probably change her diet. Always look at the ingredient's on the back of the bag.

His system was not digesting the food properly and thats why he had smelly gas. This could be influenced by his diet as well as the health of the digestive system. Some foods take longer to digest than others and may ferment in the stomach or intestines, causing a build up of gas.

I recommend that you feed him with a good quality food (high digestibility) that is low in fiber. Restrict milk intake. Lactose in milk might contribute to any digestive problem.

Do you let him out? He might be catching bird or mice, finding bugs and eating them. He may have steal human foods. *LOL* These could also caused gas.

You might consider changing her diet.  That's the usual cause of gas in cats.  Call your vet and ask what food they recommend.  He may need some kind of prescription diet for his digestive system if it is sensitive to regular food.

My kitten was on wet food, and had the same problem. Her gas was NASTY- HORRIBLE. I couldn't believe something so sweet and cute could do such a thing. Switched her to dry food and she is doing a lot better. Had to mix it at first cause she would not touch it.  The wet food made her have loose stool. Got luck with your "Little Stinky" (mine is called that from time to time!)
