  1. world poverty is due to corrupt governments. if a country can take part in free trade, then they are selling goods at a value wortwile to them to create living situations favorable to them.

but for america i can offer ideas

    - government interventionism (creating dependence)

    - government interventionism with taxes

    - government interventionism killing the dollars value

    - minumum wage, which keeps many unemployed because thier productivity is simply not worth the pay - so they remain unemployed instead of getting a lower pay to match productivity

I cannot stress how much the value of the dollar causes poverty. It is a transfer of wealth. It is why 1 worker cannot afford a family anymore. It is why 2 workers cannot now afford families.

Americans are productive, and work very hard. But government works harder to grow and spend and conquer us in the form of debt and a devalued dollar, basically nullifying our achievements.

  2. caz unemployed ppl

    economy is going down

    crimes

    tax

People dont know how to finance their money

    Laziness

  3. Poverty to the extent of being unable to find food or shelter is usually the result of wide-spread catastrophe -- war, famine, natural disaster -- that affects so many people that there is no social support for any one individual. Poverty in the sense of eking out a meager living is often due to being born into impoverished circumstances.

But the sense of poverty can be fairly subjective -- you're not poor unless someone else has more than you do. That feeling of deprivation can climb up the economic ladder.

People who have more resources tend to be more reluctant to share with the unfortunate than those with fewer resources.  Their feeling is that they earned what they have (even if only by inheritance) and that other people need to self-sufficient.

If you keep donating resources to those who have no ability to return the favor, you wind up losing much of your own comforts.  My grandad did that duringf the Depression in the 1930s -- he had a general store, and wound up just giving away all his stock and closing down.  But he also was motivated and a hard-worker, so he turned his efforts elsewhere and his family didn't go hungry.

  4. Poverty is a result of the social system set up by the rich and exists mainly as a constant reminder to the working class of their plight if they do not continue to make additional wealth for the rich by working hard and not complaining.

  5. Although I am not a religious man, I think your Bible tells you that "The poor are with us always."

  6. There is only one reason for poverty... it demonstrates that fulfillment does not come from material life. More on my bio.
