Why does sever weather ALWAYS happen...?

  1. thursday i washed my car and got it detailed.  i have never gotten it detailed and i've own my car since 99.  it was the cleanest its ever been.  so we got a tornado friday night.....what more can i say

    Thunderstorms usually start farther out west, then travel east, then dissipate.

    Sounds like you're having some bad luck.

  5. I don't know about weekends per se,   but when you are working you may not notice as much or care.   At 6PM is just near the worst time of day for heavy weather because the heat is near the max or just past the max for the day.   That heating can cause thunderstorms.

Because the heat has reached or past it's high for the day pretty much, and thunderstorms and severe weather need warm air to live, so when you have the warmest weather for the day, your going to have worse weather, just like how you don't have as many storms in the middle of the night (though it can happen) or in the morning (it could still happen though), because the tempature is cooler, so it's not going to be able to feed off that.

  7. For the same reason it's always there when you are ready to leave
