Why don't you help more?

I know you see the insurance commercials(I HATE INSURANCE COMPANIES) where one person sees another helping someone and then that person gets spotted helping the next person and so on and so on...

i do my part but i'm a little more cautious, yes. some people will take advantage of generosity, and i think that number increases everyday. i recently shared my pay with a guy who needed a job badly( i'm self-employed). sometimes i didn't make anything and paid for the gas to get to the jobsites to try and jump start his life.he started becoming a liability and did and said some things that put my livelihood in jeapordy.i had to quit letting him work with me. now he's trying to sue me for unemployment. now an old friend has been calling and looking for work. i'm too worried about how it might play out to bring him onboard. he really needs it too, but i just can't take the chance anymore. i'm a single-dad and it's not just me i have to worry about.
