Why dont cooks?

cant help but notice that cooks in resturants and tv never seem to cover their heads first thing i was taught at school at cookery class

TV is one thing, but when you're cooking for the public you're required to wear a cap or hair net.

I cook in a restaurant & always put on a cap before I enter the kitchen for my shift, as do all the other cooks in our kitchen.

"ditto" at the resturant i work @, all the cooks always have on a cap, and three of them are bald...its absoultly required...

yes but on tv the cook never really cooks its all done before hand, at the restaurant i work at we are always required to wear caps or hairnets.

at every resteraunt Ive ever worked at they have to wear a hat. And we're talking outback, applebees, sonnys, olive garden...
