Why dose my mouse do this?

my mouse keeps moving involuntary as I'm writing this my mouse is moving from the bottom of my screen to the top i was wondering why this is happening

You have an optical mouse. Take the mouse off the desk and wipe it off. Now blow out the laser area.

Now take a moist cotton tip and wipe it out.

If that doesn't work, then just get a cheap mouse at your local electronics store.

Sounds like you might have some malware on you computer. I would run your anti-virus & anti-spyware programs right away. Here are some links if you need them.

Is this the old ball style. It may just be dirty

See if you can clean it                    

On the bottom there is one s***w, unscrew and open mouse

Inside you will see two small plastic black rods with small gears at the ends.

Thoroughly clean these rods, a small speck of dirt will mess up your mouse.
