  1. There are two reasons 1. You do not wanna know how they make the food trust me 2. Not great pay

  2. Well first off they get poor health plans. They get small vacations days. They have to work on  holidays. They work in a enviroment that could harm their health.

  3. i know someone who worked there for a while :

she said the staff are rude, to you , you get covered in salt and grease everday , you don't get payed very much and the food isn't very nice anyway !

  4. in my town, a lot of dirty people work at mcdonald's because they hire everyone

  5. because there cheap the food makes you sick and they own a worm farm that is mcdonalds for you

  6. I've never worked there.  The worst job I had was working at a dry cleaners, taking in dirty laundry, folding shirts on a shirt-folding machine.

If you decide to work at McD's...just think how much more you'll appreciate future jobs that are better.  Everybody should have a really bad job as a reminder that other people are working hard so we can get burgers, our clothes cleaned, etc.  These workers should be applauded for making our lives easier!

  7. Working at McDonald's is great for building a resume, the food itself is not that great.

  8. Because you get so mind numbingly dull that  you'll serve up a bagel as shown in my avatar to be consumed and if you are a manger you'll claim this is how McDonald's bagels are toasted.

This isn't the longest answer, but it's the best one. Try to get a job where you can take pride in your work and uphold the integrity of your product. McDonald's does neither.

  9. You are either in a hot kitchen or cleaning the dining area. Neither one is appealing.  The jobs are repetitive. You have to wear a uniform and possibly a hair net. Dealing with the public is not always pleasant.  They complain when orders are wrong, it is taking too long for food, etc.  Why don't you work at a department store or book shop?

  10. Actually, I have been working for McDonald's for over a year and it is not as bad as people seem to think. I have NEVER had or heard any of the managers yell at someone. A good manager knows how to treat their employees. It is a great job for high school or college students. Why? Because they pay bonuses for good grades and they pay up to $125 for college text books. What other company does that? The one I work at pays minimum wage and the only time someone is

"Underpaid" is when they forget to clock in. I work at a 24 hour store and the graveyard shift actually starts at $9.00 an hour....Minumum wage is just over $8 an hour in WA state. We are closed on Thanksgiving night and Christmas Eve night, but open Christmas night. Yes, it sucks, but it is better than not having a job at all.

  11. They over work you. They will humiliate you or yell at you. You will get tired of running around fast and smell food when your really hungry. I dunno. Work at Dairy Queen. ITS sSOOSOO much better. and funner/ trust me you will thank me one day.

  12. The people are immature [at my mcdonalds]

    The pay sucks

You have to pay  for food there [I take my own lunch from home, but a lot of the people I work with eat the food]

You get burned from standing over the grill for 7 1/2 hours.

You have to stand over a grill for 7 1/2 hours staring at grease and burgers.

The managers don't know what they are doing.

If you know how to work, you get overworked, if you don't know how to work, you stand around in the break room all day while everyone else works.

    The pay SUCKS.

    It smells bad everywhere.

It's humiliating when you see your friends or mre so when they see you on the way to their job that pays twice as much for half the work.

  13. Alright Alright I've seen enough. 95% of these people are guessing what it's like, or what they've heard. My dad worked there as a teenager going into adulthood. This was how he described it:

Working there he said was fun and great.

They are strict about orders of course, if you mess up on a cheese burger, you have to throw it away and start over. Not too bad yet?

His least favorite assignment in Mcdonalds was cleaning under the tables and in the restrooms.

McDonalds is very clean where he worked, they mopped and sanitised at least three times a day.

There food is made out of food. It is not rubbed in cow fat, they don't wash their hands, NONE of that is true! It's a regular resturaunt where it is a rule to wash your hands before anything, or else your fired.

First question is: WHY would they rub their food in cow fat?

Second thing is: Wouldn't they get sued if they did?

And all of that stuff about making you sick and stuff, that is all in your head. Those people keep thinking that they're going to get sick from this unhealthy food, they think it so much and so hard that they actually do. Have you ever heard about the man who stayed warm in -62 weather because he concentrated on thinking he was warm.

Yes, Mcdonalds is unhealthy. But they do have healthy choices that is optional for you. It is also optional to gorge it three times a week, or eat it once a week or less. Unhealthy things can only effect you if you eat large portions of it on a regular day basis.

    :)

  14. Well, first, McDonald's is gross. It's greasy and really fattening. Plus, you'll get free coupons to buy free food from there, which isn't a good life style.

I've heard you get underpaid if you're there. You put up with a lot bull there. Workers in the fast food industry are paid low wages.

McDonald's are the world's largest user of beef. Being a vegetarian, that's a deep down side right there.
