Why is Radio Disney not clear?

Question

I have been trying to play radio disney for my 6 year old sister these past three days since she loves it so much, but the reception has suddenly gone bad. It's been fine for all these year, but in the past few days, whenever i turn it on, it makes these lip smacking sound, almost like high slapping sounds, and it doesn't go away? I'm sure that nothing is wrong with my radio (which is also an alarm clock), since i tried tuning to other channels, and they're clear as a bell... is there supposed to be something wrong with the tower that they are sending the signals from?

hmm... maybe it's just the reception on that certain radio station in ur area... it's possible. you can always just go to: http://radio.disney.go.com/index.html and click on the red button - it'll let u listen to Radio Disney online! =) hope it helped!

it is not clear cause it cant hurt kids ears so it is a little softer than the other stations i know it bothers me too they should turn it up a notch.

for me, radio disney works fantstic! it can be your transmitter, and most likely. it is.
