Why is everyone so mean?

i'm kinda new to the town i live in.

i went to school for a whole year and made

like 5 friends and now school is about

to start up again and everyone is already being

mean to me on myspace and facebook.

how can i just overcome everyone and talk to new people?

Kids love to be mean because they're insecure and that makes them feel superior. You'll be fine, just ignore them.

Nothing has changed in more than 50 years.

I don't know much about myspace or facebook, but I do know how to make friends.  And that is to be nice to people, to try to help them, to be kind.  Maybe it's time to stop using myspace and facebook only and to meet people face-to-face.  That way, it's easier to show them how nice and likeable you are.
