Question

why is it that if you say "black' you are racist yet every one goes around saying "hey white boy!"?

why is it that if you say that "black chick" then you are racist yet it is ok for people to say "skinny white girl"?

why is it that no one says "caucasion" they say "white", but if you say "black" instead of "african american" you are racist?

sometimes it seems to me that this racism thing is a one way street.

racism isnt only for black people it is for everyone.

now i know it isnt always like that and i am NOT racist, but sometimes it just feels like that

a lot of people ask this question, and my answer will still stay the same. I'm Black American or African American or Black, and I take no offense towards being called Black, so in reality, it isn't racism if you call someone Black. I know plenty of people that prefer being called Black instead of African-American.

Usually its about where your at, if i was in a room full of "cacasion" kids im not gonna say "hey whitey"

but if its just 3 or 4, i would say it, they would probably even laugh about  it.

And usually only stupid black people react to those type of things, once this white boy called me a ******..

In an enlighten society, there would be equality in everything, in words, in deeds, and most importantly in spirit.

However, in the real world, words carry sub-meaning, and it is this sub-meaning that often dedicate if the words can be considered racist.  I have no problem if "African Americans" find the word "black" offensive, thus I would not use it in that context.  It is a small price to pay, in hope to reach some harmony between racial groups.

Your whole argument is exaggerated to the point it is not even a argument, but a poorly written lie which has nothing (emphasized) on what goes on in reality.

News reporters do say Black. Everyone uses Black. In fact, African-Americans define themselves as Black. How then will that make another person racist if they use the same term themselves? People do use "Caucasian" in very rare circumstances, but I feel it is unnecessary because it's a 19th/20th century racial classification. The word Caucasian in itself is a vague term because it encompasses Middle Easterners and Eastern Africans (according to "Science" anyway). It's rare for me to hear others say the word "*******" or "Mongloid" or "Caucasian" because they are all terms for racial classification. People tend to call the person by the colour of their skin rather than the genetic makeup which places them on a racial class.

I'm sorry to say, but this has to be one of the worst arguments for this alleged double standard in society. Anyone else who agrees with your poorly written diatribe are in most cases, xenophobic idiots who blame their life problems on someone else.

I agree it wasn't Ok back then but it still happened to us. I don't see whats happening to you guys now as being half as bad as how my great uncles and grand fathers had it. Its no comparison over how racism has been dealt on both sides of the races. I'm not saying I agree with what's happening to the white people today, with all the double standards and such. But I'm just saying it could have been much worse.

Racism against blacks don't even happen anymore because you know they WILL take you to court, but black people are the ones who don't like whites, that's a fact

I understand what you are saying. But you are talking about an isolated single grain of sand on a beach. This minor problem doesn't need to be addressed since racism against black people is thousands of times worse - we have to worry about that first.

Well pretty easy because many years ago it was against black or any colored people so now it just seems wrong because it happened once and i guess you should be proud being called white years ago.
