Why is it yellow outside

My mom said theres a storm approaching, its just like a yellow tint everywhere, it could be the sun but I dont see it

  3. It may be an approaching storm or it may be sunlight reflecting off dust or smoke.  Forest fires nearby?

    But it could still be just a watch, because yellow comes before green.

  6. Yellow tint to sky, no wind, classic signs of storm somewhere...could be hail storm or worse like a tornado, I suggest taking  cover
